- Great museum! Very big and very informative. Information was presented from both sides of history.

- 1868 earthquake destroyed mission church and most of the buildings. Replica structure rebuilt in 1985.

- During the Gold Rush a store in the west wing outfitted miners.
- The Ohlone choir, taught by Padre Narciso Duan was famous.
- Only 13 miles from Mission Santa Clara de Asis
